Moderately sweet and nutty flavoured Laila split pigeon peas give a soft texture to various curries stews and soups. Renowned as Toor Dal it is the perfect accompaniment with rice as a Dal or Sambar. A staple of many classic South Asian East African and Caribbean dishes. Ingredients: Split Pigeon peas. May contain cereals containing gluten. Cooking Instructions: Soak and rinse in cold water and then bring to the boil. Simmer until tender. Do not eat raw. Storage Instruction: Store in a cool dry place.
