Laila Sticky Glutinous Rice may be mistaken for being a rice containing gluten. However what it actually means is that this opaque rice which once cooked is sticky and glue-like in texture. It is often called ‘sticky’ ‘sweet’ or ‘pearl’ rice. Perfect for Oriental & Asian chicken dishes and desserts. Ingredients: Glutinous Rice 100 percent Cooking Instructions: Take 75g rice (per person) 10g butter and 750ml of milk mix togerher in a medium pan. Bring to the boil stirring continously. Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes stirring continuously until the rice is soft. Add 25g of sugar if preferred and serve. Cooking appliances vary and these instructions are given as a guide. Please ensure that the rice is piping hot throughout before serving. Do not reheat. Storage Instruction: Store in a cool dry place. Once opened keep tightly closed and consume within the Best Before End date.
